Tim Ozpagan

Speaker from The Witches Workshop

A seasoned Witch with decades of experience in coven-based Witchcraft, Tim began his journey in his early teens and has since become a committed advocate for Paganism and traditional Witchcraft practices. Over the years, he has shared his knowledge across television, film, radio, podcasts, and print media, establishing himself as a respected voice within the magickal community.

In the early 1980s, Tim hosted his Adelaide-based radio programme Broomstick Corner, where he interviewed a wide range of alternative spiritual practitioners and explored esoteric traditions. He is also a founding member of the Dark Circle Collective and the creator of Nuit’s Veil Coven, further cementing his role as an experienced coven leader and educator.

Tim has presented workshops on numerous esoteric topics and continues to guide practitioners in developing structured, meaningful Witchcraft practices. In 1999, he created the widely recognised online community WitchesWorkshop, and through Witch Circle Meetup, has brought Witches from around the world together to connect, learn, and grow.

Tim’s aim is simple - to transform your experience of Witchcraft into a grounded, practical path.

Jason Penfold

Growing up in country Australia, Jason developed a deep connection to the natural world, surrounded by plants, animals, and stones that sparked both curiosity and creativity from an early age. His passion for minerals and lapidary was nurtured through a family tradition spanning two generations, guided by his grandmother and shaped by foraging for semi-precious stones throughout regional New South Wales.

In 2012, Jason began teaching himself the art of preserving and pinning butterflies, moths, and arachnids, developing a self-driven education in entomology. This dedication has led to collaborations with museums across Australia and the United States, as well as private collectors, contributing to various exhibitions, projects, and collections.

Now based in Melbourne, Jason’s art practice merges lapidary and entomology into small-scale sculptures rich in symbolism and archetypal meaning. His work explores the intersection between nature, transformation, and spiritual narrative - drawing from both scientific understanding and symbolic interpretation.

Having previously taught entomology both in Australia and internationally, Jason now brings his knowledge to The Witches Markets with a session exploring Spiritual Symbolism. This class will delve into the deeper meaning found within insects, natural forms, and preserved specimens, and how these elements can be interpreted through spiritual, archetypal, and magickal lenses.

Known as the Cosmic Numerologist, Jenn brings years of dedicated study and practical experience working with the vibrational language of numbers and their planetary influences.

Jenn is the author of Cosmic Numerology and has been immersed in metaphysical studies since the age of 13. Her work focuses on Cosmic Numerology birth charts - personalised energetic maps that reveal the unique numbers and planetary alignments present at the time of your birth.
